We are delighted to announce an exciting new chapter in our history here at Windlesham School and Nursery, as we prepare to become part of the award-winning Brighton College family.

From September 2026, we will officially become Brighton College Prep Hove. This milestone marks the beginning of a transformative journey for the school, under the leadership of Mr Phil Smith, formerly Deputy Head at Brighton College Prep School. With his wealth of experience, energy and vision, Mr Smith will lead the school into this exciting new era.

Looking ahead, from September 2027, Brighton College Prep Hove will also welcome pupils from St Christopher’s School, which has long been part of the Brighton College family. This development will bring together two highly respected schools, creating a vibrant and unified prep school community in the heart of Hove.

Brighton College has enjoyed strong and longstanding relationships with both Windlesham and St Christopher’s. St Christopher’s has been within the Brighton College family for many years, while Windlesham has a proud tradition of preparing pupils for success at Brighton College. This new chapter builds on these shared values and histories, combining the strengths of both schools with Brighton College’s renowned educational excellence.

As part of this significant investment in the future of education in Hove, Brighton College is committing £3 million to enhance and transform the school environment. Pupils will benefit from new playgrounds, inspiring outdoor learning spaces, and further improvements across an already impressive site, which boasts extensive grounds and excellent recreational facilities in a prime Hove location.

Brighton College Prep Hove will become the fourth prep school in the Brighton College family, joining Brighton College Prep School in Kemptown, Brighton College Prep Handcross, and Brighton College Prep Kensington in London.
